i do the wall first with the exception of the last row at the bottom then tile the floor and at the same time set the last row that way it looks the best and i dont have to worry about working on newly installed shower floor tiles while doing the walls ceiling, possibly a really dumb question trying to plan my next couple of weekends work obviously ill do the main part of the walls first but where the wall tiles meet the floor is is usual to tile down to the bottom then butt the floor tiles up gainst them or to lay the floor tiles then fix the bottom row, measure the width of the shower walls on either side of the door dry lay the panels and measure them to see where you need to make cuts in our project one wall is 31 inches and the other is 36 inches set the tile panels on the side walls with thinset the same way as for the back wall using the starter board
